Types of Cases
Auto and Motorcycle Accidents: Although these are the most common types of cases which we handle, the impact of an automobile or motorcycle accident can be physically, emotionally and financially devastating.
Railroad Accidents: When a locomotive collides with another vehicle, there is only one result: absolute destruction for the other vehicle, and oftentimes catastrophic injury or death for its occupants.
Medical Malpractice: You trust your physicians and health care providers with the lives of both you and your loved ones, but sometimes that trust is forsaken with negligent conduct that seriously injures or kills the patient.
Wrongful Death: When a spouse or a child is killed because of the negligence of another, this is the most devastating loss that a person can experience, and the emotional suffering which follows often lasts a lifetime.
Defective Products: We rely upon and use a vast number of manufactured products in our daily lives, including automobiles, medical devices or implants, household appliances, and the machines, tools and products we use at work and around the home. But sometimes these products are in a defective condition and unreasonably dangerous, and they can result in serious injury and/or death to consumers.
Toxic Exposure: Whether at the work place or at home, industry often progresses at the expense of innocent people who come into contact with chemicals, poisons and other dangerous substances which are carelessly discharged into the environment. Toxic exposure often occurs silently and over a period of many years, but its effects can cause organ failure, disease and other catastrophic injuries.
Work place Injuries: When a worker is injured on the job, Workers' Compensation all too often provides a wholly inadequate remedy for the worker's injuries. However, sometimes those injuries are caused in whole or in part by the negligence of a third party, such as the manufacturer of a defective product, or the employees of another contractor working on a job site. Where such third parties are legally responsible for the worker's injuries, the available remedies can be far more substantial than those which are allowed by Workers' Compensation.
Slip and Fall: Businesses have a duty to keep their premises reasonably safe for customers who come upon their property, but all too often serious injuries occur when they fail to repair streets, sidewalks and stairs which have become dangerous, or to timely remove ice or snow which has accumulated upon their premises.
